Did Jimmy Savile Blackmail A Famous Colleague?

Transcript from This Is Your Life TV Show, broadcast January 22nd 1992

Typical studio setting for this show, with presenter, Michael Aspel and guests...

...A clip is shown on screen of a Christmas 1974 edition of 'Top Of The Pops'. It is a 'festive' scene, with only Jimmy Savile and Tony Blackburn participating. Jimmy Savile acts like the Dickens' character Scrooge.

Michael Aspel:

Well, Scrooge was just about to set sail on the Canberra when we caught up with him.

Jimmy Savile looms on the screen. He is wearing a shirt (with 'Canberra' printed on); a tracksuit top, and a necklace. He speaks....

Tony, congratulations, you've made it to the big one.. [slight emphasis] This Is Your Life. We're all watching, 'cause we want to know all the things that you'd never tell us [Tony Blackburn shown grinning, in a wide grimace]. Things like: where you keep your money [Tony Blackburn shown laughing, covering the left side of his face with his left hand]. Can we have some of it. Where you keep all those phone numbers. Can we borrow some of those. [Tony Blackburn seen grinning, seated next to his female companion, holding her left hand with his right one - she is smiling]. Ooh [Blackburn and his companion look at each other grinning, highly amused, apparently]. We are very pleased to be on This Is Your Life and we're watching it [slight emphasis] very closely [grins].

Michael Aspel:

Thank you, Jimmy Savile [Tony Blackburn emphatically nodding in look of amusement.. Applause from audience - Blackburn seen joining in. Then, female companion clapping while Tony Blackburn, next to her, faces Aspel with a resolute look]

A real privilege to visit the Pilgrim hospital in Boston with @MattWarman - where my grandmother worked as a nurse. Great to meet some of the nurses working there today!

Secretary of State Matt Hancock's speech at the Chief Nursing Officer for England's Summit

"..But the real reason I understand what it's like, and what it takes to be an amazing nurse, and where my admiration for nurses comes from, is my grandma, Pem.

My grandmother Pem Hills worked nights at the Pilgrim in Boston until my early childhood.

And I saw first-hand her dedication, her love for the job and her sacrifice. I can see her now, in her uniform, with her funny upside-down watch.

And even after she retired, she never stopped caring.

She had a deep reservoir of love and kindness to draw on, just when you needed it.

But she was also the most ferociously organised person I ever knew. And I bet she kept those doctors under control..."

'Work was what she lived for': Health Secretary Matt Hancock reveals his grandmother FORGED a birth certificate and passport to take 10 years off her age so she did not have to retire at 60

...Health Secretary Matt Hancock has revealed his grandmother broke the law by faking documents to take ten years off her age so she did not have to retire.

Anne Hancock forged a birth certificate and passport when she hit 60 'because work was what she lived for', the Cabinet Minister said.

She went on to work for another 10 years as the manager of a Co-Op supermarket in Nottingham and later passed away at the age of 103 in 2017, he told the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Longevity.

According to the Express he said: 'She worked all her life. She wanted to keep working and had to lie about her age when she got to 60.

'I can say this now because she is dead. She forged her birth certificate and then she got a forged passport by changing a digit to say she was 10 years younger, because for her work was what she lived for.

'She got to the age of 60 and they told her she had to retire and she didn't want to.

'So she carried on another 10 years, illicitly breaking every rule in the book.'

My grandma was a nurse at Boston Pilgrim Hospital. I grew up knowing from her everything our nurses stand for: incredibly hard-working, compassionate and dedicated to caring

My grandma Pem Hills worked for many years as a nurse at the Pilgrim Hospital at Boston. I'm thrilled to be going back today to announce a new A and E as part of the £1.8bn extra for the NHS

Really moving to go back to Holt near Wrexham, where Grandma lived her last few years with dementia.

I want to galvanise a national moonshot to find a cure.

'Don't kill your gran' warns Matt Hancock as coronavirus cases rise among young people

...Mr. Hancock told BBC Radio 1's Newsbeat: "The message to everybody of any age, the risk of spreading it to others - and, especially others who are older, and therefore highly vulnerable to the disease - that risk is real.

"Sticking to the social distancing rules is incredibly important.

"The question is, how much are you willing to risk the lives of yourself and others by breaking the social distancing rules?

"Don't kill your gran by catching coronavirus and then passing it on..."

@MattHancock

This month is World Alzheimer's month. My grandma lived with dementia in her last years.

Dementia of all kinds is too common and can affect us all.

I'm determined to do all we can to tackle dementia so we're investing £1.6 billion over the next decade in dementia research

Sep 12 2020

In conclusion, remember folks that British Health Secretary, Matthew 'Little Matty' Hancock was very close to his grandmother and he doesn't want young people to kill their grandmothers (no mention of any grandfathers).

Furthermore, his own grandmother, who he was remarkably close to, committed long-term fraud, working for the NHS for ten years - as Matt Hancock, himself puts it - "..illicitly breaking every rule in the book".

And, he tells us that this woman only did it because "..for her work was what she lived for..."

And, British Health Secretary, Matt Hancock seems to have no problem, at all with this fraud committed by his grandmother.

Indeed, he knew about it, yet said nothing while she was alive.

The message of May 2019, delivered in plain sight by Matt Hancock to all of us has been hereby noted : he thinks that the fraud that his grandmother was guilty of was actually justified, because it succeeded in getting her what she wanted.

In other words: the ends considered beneficial justify the means being criminal

I get the feeling that The perma-wet and useless Tory, Matt Hancock, was bullied at school. Probably by people like Boris Johnson. I hate to say this about bullying but he probably deserved it, the vapid little tick. #bbcqt

@ArghZombies

Imagine being Matt Hancock. Surely he spends every night at home with his head in his hands.

Like the kid who gets bullied at school every single day but thinks if he just keeps saying how great the bully is he'll get given that crappy trainset he somehow really wants.

Although you'd feel sorry for that kid. Bu not for Matt Hancock. He sold his soul to the school bully. For nothing.

Matt Hancock gives off the vibe of somebody that gets bullied by the bigger Tories.

Matt Hancock strikes me as being that kid that was kind of bullied into being the bullies sidekick, sometimes he's basically the bully, sometimes you feel like he's trapped, forced to go along with awful friends.

@CorfuArts

I believe the whole lot of them are appalling. However, putting Matt Hancock out as the sacrificial lamb to answer for everything smacks of the weak kid at boarding school, bullied into taking all the punishment for the bullies. I guess they don't dare put up Patel - too risky?

One of the particularly cringeworthy features of Matt Hancock is the way he constantly says he's 'so proud of' people and things. It's a toe-curling way of trying to look in control when everyone knows he's like the poor weak child king who's mercilessly bullied by his advisers.

Billy Meier 1959 UFO Photograph

In the 36th edition of the 4-page broadsheet newspaper format German publication ufo-nachrichten an image of a photograph was presented in the lower-left corner of the front page.

Details of the circumstances around the taking of the photograph were provided above and below the image. Here is an English translation:

Mr Eduard Meier UFO-IFO Group 309 Uitikon ZH/Switzerland has provided us with a photograph of a "Five-V-Formation" of UFOs. It was taken on 6 June 1959, at 2.30. The duration of the sighting was one and a half minutes. Altitude was 1,300 to 1,700 metres, velocity about 650 km/hr. The flight was silent. The objects appeared to be a pale orange colour. Our UFO-Friend gives us this description: "As if these objects knew that I wanted to capture them on film, they stood still, as it were in mid-flight, just suddenly hanging in the air. Of course, at that point, I was quick to reach for my camera, which I have always at the ready."

Looking for any information about this photograph on-line, I could find nothing. I presume that the photographer is 'Eduard Albert Meier, commonly nicknamed "Billy"...' as Wikipedia refers to him. A man, who they further report: '..claims his extraterrestrial encounters began in 1942, at the age of five, when he met an elderly Plejaren man named "Sfath". After Sfath's death in 1953, Meier said, he began communicating with an extraterrestrial woman.. called "Asket". All contacts ceased in 1964, he said...' (His E.T contacts (allegedly) resumed years later)

The earliest Billy Meier UFO photographs that a not particularly lengthy search brought up were from 1964, in India. The earliest-dated one of those, on the Future of Mankind Photo Gallery was of 'Eight unknown bullet shaped illuminating UFOs over New Delhi, India, 19th May 1964'.

Not having seen any of the independently published books dealing with the Billy Meier 'case', I don't know whether or not one or more of them include any information about the 1959 photograph, or if other information has been published about any UFO photographs taken by him before May 19th 1964.

However, aside from that factor in presenting this information now, I found it interesting that a similar image of a V-Formation of five lights or objects had been previously published by ufo-nachrichten in their 10th published edition of July 1957 - that is 2 years and 1 month earlier. If Eduard 'Billy' Meier had seen that edition, he would presumably have noted in the upper-right corner of the third page the image of the photograph, credited to a Mr. A. Komaki. The five supposedly illuminated objects witnessed by many and captured on film by this one man, were silent, as in the later Meier report and with respect to colour they were described as 'yellow-orange bright lights'. So, this V-Formation,  photographed in Japan, in 1957, seems quite similar to the one photographed by Meier two years later, in Switzerland.
