And even after she retired, she never stopped caring.
She had a deep reservoir of love and kindness to draw on, just when you needed it.
But she was also the most ferociously organised person I ever knew. And I bet she kept those doctors under control..."

'Work was what she lived for': Health Secretary Matt Hancock reveals his grandmother FORGED a birth certificate and passport to take 10 years off her age so she did not have to retire at 60
...Health Secretary Matt Hancock has revealed his grandmother broke the law by faking documents to take ten years off her age so she did not have to retire.
Anne Hancock forged a birth certificate and passport when she hit 60 'because work was what she lived for', the Cabinet Minister said.
She went on to work for another 10 years as the manager of a Co-Op supermarket in Nottingham and later passed away at the age of 103 in 2017, he told the launch of the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Longevity.
According to the Express he said: 'She worked all her life. She wanted to keep working and had to lie about her age when she got to 60.
'I can say this now because she is dead. She forged her birth certificate and then she got a forged passport by changing a digit to say she was 10 years younger, because for her work was what she lived for.
'She got to the age of 60 and they told her she had to retire and she didn't want to.
'So she carried on another 10 years, illicitly breaking every rule in the book.'

This month is World Alzheimer's month. My grandma lived with dementia in her last years.
Dementia of all kinds is too common and can affect us all.
I'm determined to do all we can to tackle dementia so we're investing £1.6 billion over the next decade in dementia research

In conclusion, remember folks that British Health Secretary, Matthew 'Little Matty' Hancock was very close to his grandmother and he doesn't want young people to kill their grandmothers (no mention of any grandfathers).
Furthermore, his own grandmother, who he was remarkably close to, committed long-term fraud, working for the NHS for ten years - as Matt Hancock, himself puts it - "..illicitly breaking every rule in the book".
And, he tells us that this woman only did it because "..for her work was what she lived for..."
And, British Health Secretary, Matt Hancock seems to have no problem, at all with this fraud committed by his grandmother.
Indeed, he knew about it, yet said nothing while she was alive.
The message of May 2019, delivered in plain sight by Matt Hancock to all of us has been hereby noted : he thinks that the fraud that his grandmother was guilty of was actually justified, because it succeeded in getting her what she wanted.
In other words: the ends considered beneficial justify the means being criminal.
